Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our team will receive you from Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. In the evening after attending the welcome dinner, you will meet the guide for a tour briefing, bike discussion, permits and rest after travel.. Necessary permits and documents are prepared.

The ride begins after breakfast as you leave the Kathmandu Valley through Thankot and descend towards Naubise. The road follows the Trishuli River with beautiful views of hills, rivers and terraced fields. This section offers smooth highways mixed with winding curves, making it an enjoyable start to the tour. From Dumre, you take an uphill road to Bandipur, a beautifully preserved Newari hill town. Ride from Pokhara towards Beni and Kusma following the mighty Kali Gandaki River, one of the deepest river gorges in the world. By late afternoon, you arrive at Tatopani, a charming riverside village known for its natural hot springs. The most suitable periods are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the skies are clear, temperatures are moderate, and mountain and plateau views are at their best. Trails are dry, ideal for off-road riding across rocky desert paths, gravel tracks, and narrow mountain roads.
Winter riding is possible for experienced riders but requires proper gear for cold temperatures, strong winds, and occasional frost at higher elevations like Lo-Manthang and Dhakmar. Monsoon season is not recommended due to muddy tracks, landslide-prone sections, and poor visibility on cliffside roads.

Upper Mustang lies in a restricted area that requires special permits issued by the Nepalese government. Riders also pass through local villages and conservation zones where small community or environmental fees may apply. Strong off-road riding skills, physical stamina, and patience are required for a smooth and enjoyable experience.

High Altitude and Weather Awareness

The tour reaches elevations up to 3,800–4,000 meters in Upper Mustang plateau and Lo-Manthang.
